Eliminate Smoke Odor!
Does your car, truck or SUV smell like cigarette smoke? How about pet odor? Does it smell like fido is still in the truck even when he is at home? Here is a little trick from our detailing department for getting the smoke smell (or any other odor) out of your car, truck or SUV. It doesn’t cost a lot, and it’s very easy to do.
Place a dryer sheet (like a Bounce or Downy dryer sheet) into the springs under your seat. Each time you get into your car, the bouncing action of the seat will release some of the fragrance into your car.
Depending on the level of odor, eventually, the fragrance from the fabric sheet will overcome the smell of smoke or pets in your vehicle.
When the smoke smell comes back, replace the dryer sheet with a new one. If the odor is stronger than the dryer sheet, we’d recommend taking your car to a professional detailing shop.
