Each January, we are treated to the new automotive electronic accessories from CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas, NV. With nearly 150,000 attendees and 4000+ vendors, CES is one of the largest tech conventions on the planet. CES brings together businesses of all sizes from start-ups to technology giants. You’ll find current market products and future technology that may be available later this year.
The ‘Vehicle Tech and Advanced Mobility’ category was populated by dash cams, auto glass and screen treatments, AI software, and automotive parts. From a list of over 700 companies, we picked a handful of our favorite automotive electronics accessories. These add-ons would make a cutting-edge addition to your car, truck or SUV.
Rearview Mirror Dash Cam
Mirror dash cams integrate seamlessly into your vehicle’s interior, offer larger displays, better rear visibility, and advanced safety features. “Pelsee combines high-resolution cameras, intelligent software, and driver-focused design.”

Dimmable Sun Visors
At CES 2026, Gentex showcased the next generation of its large-area dimmable devices including dimmable sunroofs and sun visors that incorporate various integrated vanity mirror designs.
At Auto One, we have been fans of Gentex products for years, and we can’t wait to install our first Dimmable Sun Visor.
Self-driving Car Add-on
Comma combines hardware and software to create an add-on device that provides a “self-driving experience” on “325+ car models from 27 brands”. The hardware is called the comma four. It mounts by the mirror on your vehicle. It runs openpilot, “which can drive for hours without driver action”. Together Comma’s product provides
- Automated Lane Centering
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Lane Change Assist
- Driver Monitoring (no wheel nags)
- Can drive for hours without intervention

Vehicle Security
Phantom Kill Switch qualifies as future technology. From the manufacturer’s Web site, “Today all of our Phantom TKS are sold and installed as working Prototypes.”
The Phantom Kill Switch is designed to secure your car, atv, big rig, and heavy equipment. No more carjacking, vehicle thefts, or illegal tows. The patented Phantom Kill Switch can be installed in a variety of mobile applications as long as it operates on 12VDC and has a automatic transmission shift mechanism. The fingerprint model is their most secure and best selling device.
Electric Car
The electric TC2 is more than an aftermarket accessory. It looks fun to drive so we had to include it in our list of CES 2026 vehicle electronics.
Dutch car manufacturer Carice proudly presented the Carice TC2 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. “Built and designed from the ground up in the Netherlands by people with a lifelong love of classic cars, the TC2 is made to resemble the playful and elegant looks of every car that you loved as a kid. Their passion for cars translates into a high level of attention to detail and commitment to meet your needs.”
